Itinerary

If Puerto Vallarta were famous for only one thing, it would be its spectacular sunsets! There is no better location for a photography adventure. You will be learning new skills and techniques as you capture wonderful images of our stunning Puerto Vallarta at its most lovely time of day.

Get a front row seat for the sunset as we gather on the Malecón for lessons on exposure, color, silhouettes, and metering modes. Then we will shoot the setting sun from the beach using a variety of apertures and shutter speeds for different effects and practice shooting flash at sunset. You will leave this course with a variety of sunset photographs and learn to take advantage of what is known as the golden hour of photography with incredibly beautiful lighting. You will also learn how all of these techniques apply to sunrise photographs for future application.

Receive comprehensive lessons that can be applied to all of your photography subjects. Each workshop comes with a detailed handout highlighting all of the topics we covered. All of our students are invited to join our online community where they can continue to receive photography support and participate in our themed challenges.
