Visit the world's most powerful water falls located in the North-western Uganda,spreading inland from the shores of lake Albert,around the Victoria Nile up to the Karuma Falls.
The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile,which plunges 45m over the Rift Valley wall,creating the dramatic Murchison Falls,the centerpiece of the park.The coscade drains into a broad,placid stream that flows quietly across the Rift Valley floor into lake Albert.This stretch of river provides one of Uganda's most remarkable wildlife spectacles.Regular visitors to the riverbanks elephants,giraffes and buffaloes;while hippos ,Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds are permanent residents.

Itinerary

Day 1: Luweero - Ziwa Sanctuary

Pass By: Luweero, Luweero, Central Region
After your breakfast, we drive through the famous Luwero Triangle.

Pass By: Ziwa Rhino Wildlife Ranch, Nakitoma, Uganda
You can choose to visit and track White Rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary at 50$ per person. This Sanctuary has now been established to breed black and White Rhino, and restore populations in Uganda's protected areas in later stages.Take a stopover at Masindi hotel for lunch. We will continue through the park stopping at the top of falls which is a fantastic site. Here the Nile, the longest River in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down 43meters. From here we will continue on to our accommodation place along the Nile River.

Day 2: Murchison Falls

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
Game drive and boat safari downstream in the Murchison falls National park. After breakfast head to the Delta in search for bird life and enjoy the game drive to look for lions, Giraffes, Herds of Elephants, Buffaloes and many more. We will drive back to the lodge for lunch before taking an afternoon boat cruise to the foot of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is often sitted as being highlight of trip to the Murchison since it allows you to get up close to the animals. Along this stretch of the River,there are reported to be around 4000 Hippos in addiction to some enormous Nile Crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly coloured King Fishers and Bee-eaters dating along the River Banks. If lucky, you may see Tara and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is across between Dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.
Then after cruise you will hike to the top of the falls and return to our lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls - Kampala

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
Visit the top of the falls.

Pass By: Kampala, Kampala, Central Region
Drive back to Kampala. Have a leisure morning before you embark on your return to kampala afterwards.
