On your short 3 to four-hour hike to Mti Mkubwa (big tree) Camp, you will come across local wildlife such as the Colobus Monkey so keep your peepers peeled for more along the way.

This is a great option if you want a longer trek for acclimatization. It meets up with the Machame Route, Shira route and Umbwe route at Barranco Camp
