Wake up early to rise to a new day of adventure sharing the day with majestic Machu Picchu. We pick you up at your hoteand then drive to Poroy Train Station to leave at 7:35am (during rainy season, Ollantaytambo is offered in lue of the Poroy station).

Travel by train through the alpine meadows nestled amongst the green valleys, layers of handmade Inca farming terraces, ridged snowcapped mountains and sub-tropical cloud forests.

Your guide will meet you at the train station in Aguas Calientes. You will catch your bus to Machu Picchu. There will be 2.5 hours of guided tour in Machu Picchu Citadel. You will then have free time to explore, take photos, or hike to the Sun Gate. Returning to Aguas Calientes, you will catch the early evening Vistadome train to Poroy (or Ollantaytambo during rainy season), where we will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

You can enjoy an unmatched and mesmerizing panoramic train journey, as you pass through the ancient towns of the Incas. Your 3.5-hour journey starts from Cusco (Poroy Train Station) to Aguas Calientes in style through the alpine meadows nestled amongst the green, brown and white peaks, the intricately formed valleys, layers of handmade Inca farming terraces, ridged snowcapped mountains and sub-tropical jungle near the Amazon up to Aguas Calientes. Transported by shuttle bus from Aguas Calientes to begin your connection to the natural world and cultural show at the citadel of Machu Picchu
