The cultural center of the Brazilian Bank (CCBB), with more than 30 years of history and celebrating more than 58 million visitors throughout its existence, CCBB offer the public a plural, regular, accessible and quality program. Has have already presented more than 2,450 projects in the areas of visual arts, cinema, theater, dance, music and thought during its trajectory, which has currently given the title of the most beloved cultural center in Rio de Janeiro. Since 2011, also have included Brazil in the annual ranking of the British newspaper The Art Newspaper, projecting Rio among the cities with the most visited art shows in the world.

Inaugurated on March 1, 2013, the Museu de Arte do Rio, MAR, promotes a transversal reading of the city's history, its social fabric, its symbolic life, conflicts, contradictions, challenges and social expectations. Its exhibitions unite historical and contemporary dimensions of art through long-term and short-term exhibitions, both locally and nationally. The museum also appears with the mission of inscribing art in public education, through its Escola do Olhar.
