Naranag-Gangabal-Trek expedition is the only trek in Kashmir which remains open most of the year. The trek passes through pine forests, meadows and reaches its destination at the twin alpine lakes situated at the foothills of mount Haramukh (5300M).

Itinerary

Itinerary:
Day 1 :- Arrival Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar (Alt. 1600m)
Pickup from Srinagar airport or Bus stand
10 kms drive to Houseboat or Hotel at Dal Lake, approx 30 minutes.
(Transport from Srinagar airport or bus station to the hotel or houseboat. Tea, dinner)

Day 2:- Srinagar to Naranag (drive) and Trunkhol (trek)
Altitude: 1600m to 2250m drive
Altitude: 2250m to 3200m trek
60 kms drive approx 2 hours and 9 km trek, approx 6 hours
(Transport, Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner)

Day 3 :- Trunkhol to Gangabal Lake
Altitude: 3200m to 3700m
6 kms trek, approx 4 hours
(Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner)

Day 4:- Day at leisure
Explore twin lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol
(Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner)

Day 5:- Gangabal to Naranag trek, Drive to Srinagar
Altitude: 3700m to 2250m
15 kms trek, approx 6 hours
60 kms drive, approx 2 hours
(Breakfast, Transport, lunch at Naranag, dinner at the hotel in Srinagar)

Day 6:- Srinagar Airport or Bus Stand drop.
5 kms drive to bus stand, approx 20 minutes
12 kms drive to Srinagar airport, approx 30 minutes
(Breakfast, Transport)

Stop At:

• Naranag Temple, Ganerbal District, Naranaag 191202 India
• Gangabal Lake, Srinagar District, Sonamarg 191203 India

Inclusions
