St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery is one of the main temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate. The monastery is devoted to the heavenly patron of the city - Archangel Michael. Built in the 11th century, but raised from ruins in the 20 century, it is considered to be one of the most honored places among the pilgrims.

The leading musical theater of Ukraine. Founded in Kyiv originally in 1856 as the Kyiv City Theater, which in 1867 acquired a resident company and became known as the Kyiv Russian Opera, it was nationalized in 1919 under the name of the Opera of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic, and in 1926 was Ukrainized and renamed the Kyiv Ukrainian Opera. In 1934 it acquired the name Kyiv Theater of Opera and Ballet.

The Independence Square, or Maidan Nezalezhnosti, is the central square in Kyiv, the main and the most beautiful one. Parades, concerts, festivals, and other city arrangements and holidays take place in this square. It contains six fountains, Independence Column, and an artificial waterfall.

The new Klitschko Pedestrian-Bicycle Bridge become one of the most interesting attractions of Kyiv from which open beautiful panoramic views of Podol, Dnipro river, Podilsko-Voskresenskyi Bridge and the left bank of Kyiv.
In some parts of the bridge installed glass floor so those who do not scare could make stunning pictures hanging in the air.

Khreshchatyk is the main street of Kyiv, Ukraine. The street has a length of 1.2 km (0.81 mi). It stretches from the European Square through the Maidan and to Bessarabska Square. The entire street was completely destroyed during World War II by the retreating Red Army troops and rebuilt in the neo-classical style of post-war Stalinist architecture.

Friendship of Nations Arch is a monument dedicated to the unification of Ukraine and Russia. The monument is a 6.2 meters tall rainbow-shaped arch, made of titanium and bronze alloy. The magnitude of the attractions are impressive: the height of the sculptures up to 6.2 meters, and the arch - about 30 meters. This ensemble has appeared in 1982.

History Vladimir Hill Park has its origins in 1853 with the opening on the site of the monument to Vladimir Svjatoslavovich - Baptist of Russia. Around the same time laid the foundation and the park. In 1900 there was established the first electric funicular.
