A visit to Cappadocia is not complete without seeing one of its underground cities.

Numerous tunnels and passages were built underneath the entire region, starting from Hittites up to 11th centuries.

Kaymakli, known as the broadest underground cities, is one of a great sample to get the main idea of this mysterious shelters.
