Discover the hidden Gran Canaria throung this exploring tecnique. We do different canyons every week. The amazing dry landscape of Las Vacas Canyon (similar to Antelope Canyon in Arizona) or the awesome rainforest landscape abseiling in the waterfalls of Cernicalos Canyon.

This is that you are going to remember from your trip, learning how to do canyoning in an amazing place. All our activities is in reduced group. We think that the quality of the tour is the most important, so we want that you enjoy your experience and don't wait in big groups.

Telde hides one of the most awesome spots for canyoning. Could you imagine descend a canyon across the original jungle of Gran Canaria abseiling and sliding in waterfalls?

In Agüimes you can find Barranco Las Vacas, one of the top spots for visitors in Gran Canaria. Dont be a tourist, explore it in an adventourer way.

Description

Itinerary

We do 3 different canyons:

Tuesdays:
- Cernicalos Canyon: Abseiling in waterfalls in Rain Forest (Telde).

Thursdays (depending on season: dry canyon or canyon with jumps):
- Los Azulejos Canyon: Jumping in pools and abseiling (Mogan).
- Barranco Las Vacas: Abseiling (Agüimes).

We will meet in the parking, where you will receive all the equipment. The adventure starts walking for 15 minutes in a trail between the mountains. From this high position we can learn about the geology of Gran Canaria and its history. Then we will arrive to the bottom of the canyon, where the water flows everyday. It's time for canyoning! The guide will explain you everything: you don't need experience, only a normal fitness. The first part is really fun, short slides to get ready for action. After this, you will learn how to abseil and then you can try by yourself (with a safety extra rope). In each part of the canyon you will learn and try different tecniques. When we finish, we will come back to the starting point walking.

Also, we can do different canyons depending on weather. There are canyons with waterfalls, canyons with jumps o even dry canyons where you can find the best abseilings.
