Day 1: Jeju island jumbo taxi tour

Manjanggul Cave is registered as a World Natural Heritage Site. The total length is 7,400 meters, and the section that can be explored is 1 kilometer. It is a cave created by flowing lava.
Manjanggul Cave is a lava tube-like cave that flows from high to low due to volcanic eruptions called Geomunoreum near Hallasan Mountain. As the surface and floor cool down quickly, the surface hardens and hot magma flows like a tube. It takes about 1 hour to go down the underground There is also a puddle with water, so you have to be careful about walking, and there is an English explanation everywhere you go until the stone pillar comes out 1km. After the cave was made like a tube, the lava flowed down from the hole in the ceiling and hardened, forming a long stone pillar like a tower.
Manjanggul Cave is closed on the first Wednesday of every month, and the entrance deadline is 17:00, so you have to arrive at the parking lot by 16:50

Seongeup Folk Village, located at the foot of Hallasan Mountain in Jeju Island, is a small village with a vast culture from 1410 to 1914. The cultural assets of the folk village have been passed down from generation to generation. Includes treasures such as residential houses, Confucian shrines and schools, ancient government offices, stone statues, large millstones (horse- or ox-drawn millstones), fortress remains and stone monuments. Among the cultural properties of the folk village, there are intangible cultural properties such as folk games, local food, local folk crafts, and local dialects. Even the trees are an important part of the region's heritage. A few hundred-year-old zelkova and nettle trees stand in the center of the town, retaining the solemn atmosphere of the old days.
Seongeup Folk Village shows the unique culture of Jeju Island. Local Tongsi is particularly well-known as a characteristic of Jeju's folk culture.

Day 2: Jeju island jumbo taxi tour

Jeongbang Falls is one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju Island along with Cheonjiyeon Falls and Cheonjeyeon Falls. It is the only waterfall in Korea where water directly falls into the sea. The waterfall is 23 meters high and the two waterfalls that fall along the black cliffs offer thrilling sounds and great views. In addition, steep cliffs and cypress trees around autumn create a picturesque landscape, and this landscape was selected as one of the ten most scenic views of Yeongju under the name of 'Jeongbang River Pond'. It is said that the words 'Seobulgwacha' are engraved on the cliff of Jeongbang Falls.

Oedolgae, the starting point of Jeju Olle-gil Course 7, is a stone pillar that rises 20m from the sea. It was named ‘Oedolgae’ because it stands tall alone on the sea. It is also called 'Janggun-seok' or 'Halmang Rock', and there is a legend that when Choi Young-gun fought the Yuan dynasty, he decorated this rock like a general and caused the enemy to self-destruct. Let's read the legend below about the origin of the name 'Halmangbawi'. You can get a glimpse not only of the visible rocks, but also the lifestyles of the people of Jeju who waited for people from the sea.

Columnar joints are vertical joints that appear in basalt lava flows, as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife. It was formed as a result of the contraction of thick lava flowing out of the crater and rapidly cooling. Hexagon-shaped stone pillars standing on top of each other as if stacked on a staircase are surrounded like a folding screen, so you can enjoy the mysteries of nature. The waves crashing against the pillars are also a sight to behold, and in severe cases, a 'show' that soars over 20m in height is held, captivating the viewer. Jungmun-Daepo Coastal Columnar Joints are the largest in Korea with a height of 30-40 m and a width of about 1 km, and is designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No.

Yongmeori Coast is located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain and extends to the coast. It is called Yongmeori Coast because it resembles the head of a dragon going into the sea. Sandstone rocks that have been layered for tens of millions of years have been carved out by the waves to form a strange cliff. The oyster room, which is hollow like a secret room hit by waves, or the traces of waves kept by the rock wall, makes you feel the grandeur of facing a long history. The spectacular view of the 30-50m-long cliffs that curve like a meander has been filmed as a backdrop for commercials and movies.
