Scuba Diving Experience for Beginners in Gran Canaria

Itinerary

-Upon pick up we will take you straight to the dive site, Playa de Amadores *. If you come to our dive centre we will drive you to the dive site. Your instructor will introduce themselves and get you ready to start your Try Dive experience.
-First your instructor will go through the paperwork with you and answer any questions you may have.
- Whilst you are filling in the paperwork we will start to get your equipment ready for the try dive.
- When everything is ready your instructor will give you a detailed briefing about what to expect in the water. You will put the equipment on and walk the short distance to the ocean.
-Once in the water your instructor will slowly introduce you to breathing with the scuba equipment. When you feel ready you will start in shallow water by learning a few basic skills, after this you will go for a guided dive under the direct supervision of your instructor.

*Please note if the weather conditions at Playa de Amadores are not suitable for diving we may take you to a different diving location further away.

• All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
• Minimum age is 10 years
• Stroller accessible
• Near public transportation
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Most travelers can participate
• A minimum of 12 hours is required between diving and flying for 1 dive
• A minimum of 18 hours is required between diving and flying for multiple dives
• Not recommended for travellers with asthma or other lung conditions
• Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
• Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
• Gear/equipment sanitized between use
• Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
• Guides required to regularly wash hands
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 1 day of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
