Visiting Dujiangyan Wolong Panda Base Optional Volunteering
Dujianyan Panda Base is one of the few bases offer panda volunteer program in China. The full day program include panda food making, panda enclosures cleaning and features of documentary video of releasing panda to the wildness. Accompanied by a professional panda expert who will introduce you the topics of the panda discovery, the history of panda in China, the classification, and panda conservation. Dujiangyan Panda Base is dedicated to the study of disease control and rescue of wild pandas where you will contribute to the conservation of endangered panda bears!

07:20am-08:50am Hotel pick up to Dujiangyan Panda Base
09:00am-10:00am Clean the enclosure
10:00am-11:00am Visit the pandas
11:00am-11:30am Feed the pandas (feed 2 pieces of bamboo shoots/carrots to pandas through the cage, the tour guide will help you to take some pictures, no touching and holding pandas)
11:30am-12:30pm Lunch
01:00pm-01:50pm Watch a documentary video
02:00pm-02:30pm Clean and Feed the pandas (feed 2 pieces of bamboo shoots/carrots to pandas through the cage, the tour guide will help you to take some pictures, no touching and holding pandas)
02:30pm-03:00pm Learn to make panda cakes
03:00pm-04:30pm Drive back to Chengdu
