Day 1: Ready, Steady, Wine!

Stop At: Domanovići, Bosnia and Herzegovina
First stop of our wine tour is a traditional winery that produces the first and only Bosnian brut (champagne) from the Zilavka grape. We do a cellar tour, learn how Brut is made (the bottle is touched at least 200 times!) - and of course taste it! There will also be a light lunch of typical Herzegovinian specialties, with which we will taste two more wines and a rakija (Bosnian fruit brandy).

Stop At: Citluk, Citluk, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
A very special highlight awaits us at the second winery, a boutique vinarija of the fourth generation: we create our own cuvée under the guidance of the winemaker - the perfect souvenir! We learn a lot about the characteristics, taste and production of wine. Mezze is of course included!

Stop At: Medugorje, Medugorje, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
We continue to Medugorje! A typical Herzegovinian dinner awaits us here in the wine cellar of a well-known boutique winery - everything local and organic. We sit at the table with the winemaker, ask him all our questions and taste his wines. We stay in Herzegovina's first and only wine hotel, only five minutes away from the wine cellar.

Day 2: Do you want more? Wine not!

Stop At: Mala Kravica, Trebizat river, Ljubuski Bosnia and Herzegovina
How about a little cool down after so much wine? After breakfast we make our way to the world-famous Kravica waterfalls, which are not overcrowded so early in the morning. The perfect moment to take a dip before sampling some more excellent wines!
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Crveni Grm, Bosnia and Herzegovina
In a boutique winery, which was the first to cultivate the Croatian wine variety Plavac Mali in Herzegovina, we will taste this special wine over lunch together. The philosophy of the winemaker: zero kilometers! Everything comes from the surrounding villages and is freshly processed.

Stop At: Ljubuski, Ljubuski, West Herzegovina Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
On the way to our last stop, we'll take another short break to visit the museum in Ljubuški and learn about the Humačka Ploča - the oldest documented script in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As nice as it was: this tour will slowly come to an end. One tasting still awaits you, though! In a wine club with a beautiful view over the hills of Herzegovina, we will taste three top-quality wines that have not yet made it onto the Bosnian market, but are actually only exported. Of course there will be some delicious Mezze to sample with the wine.
Anyone that still wants to buy wine can do so at the wine club – all the wines you sampled in the last two days are available there. After that, it is time we return to Sarajevo.

• There are currently no COVID-19 related restrictions in the country. BiH COVID numbers are generally low at the moment. Of course, we still attach great importance to the health and safety of our guests and are happy to provide disinfectants. All our guides are also vaccinated.
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 20 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
