Description

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Cape Vani, 84800 Greece

Α peninsula at the tip of which a large cliff about 100
meters high rises up. The exploitation started back in
1871 and lasted for several decades. The mine stopped
working in 1928 due to reducing ore prices.
At the former Vani manganese mine, there are old
galleries, ruins, caves, and dark cliffs that have collapsed
because of erosion and other artefacts.

Visiting by sea allows you to circle the Vani cliff
right underneath it. And at this point, the seabed
plunges into the depths more steeply than at any
other part of Milos’ coastline.
The mine is not visible from the sea but you can
see the strange rocks that the locals call "the
bacon" because of the similarity in colours.

Stop At: Kalogries Beach, Greece

Kalogries beach is located on the northwest coast of the island of Milos. The legend says that it got its name from nuns wandering around the area and the seafarers were seeing them

Duration: 40 minutes

Pass By: Sikia Beach, Sikia, 848 00 Greece

The cave of Sykia is located on the western side of Milos and is a
natural monument that dazzles the visitor.
The name is due, according to many, to the fact that very close
to the roof opening is a fig tree.
Sykia isn't exactly a beach - it's a sea cave whose roof has likely
collapsed after an earthquake. As a result, a cave has been formed
with an almost round shape and a "hole" in the ceiling through
which the sky can be seen.
Inside it hides a very small beach with pebbles, stones and crystal
clear waters and is only accessible by boat.

Stop At: Kleftiko Beach, Greece

Our next stop will be Kleftiko. Impressive rocks spring up from the sea, forming natural caves and rare geological phenomena. Kleftiko is also known as “The Sea Meteora”. The legend says that one of the caves in Kleftiko was a pirate hideaway and that they had hidden in there their treasury but it was never found. The crystal-clear water, huge white caves and stones will leave you breathless. You have the chance to explore the place into the beautiful sea, play with masks and do snorkeling.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Gerakas Beach, Vasilikos Greece

It is located on the southern side of Milos and can be
reached only by boat.
Just above is the volcano of Agia Kyriaki.
The beach of Gerakas is known as the Hawaii of Milos.
The beach is covered in white sand, crystal clear blue
waters with huge sand "slides" that tumble down a
white strip of sand

Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Tsigrado Beach, 848 00 Greece

It’s a small, secluded,unorganised beach in the south, 14km
from Plaka. To reach the beach, you need to climb down through a narrow crack between volcanic cliffs. There are ropes and
wooden ladders for assistance.

Pass By: Thiorichia Beach, Thiorichio 848 00 Greece

On the east coast, there is a little beach called Paleorema.
The sea is clear blue water with yellow pebbles due to the old
sulfur mines and abandoned factory installations that were in
working order until 1956.

Stop At: Poliegos, 84001 Greece

Polyiegos now belongs to the protected areas of the
Natura 2000. This island has existed since ancient times and was a
bone of contention for Milos and Kimolos, who claimed a
share of its mineral wealth. From 338 BC until today the
island administratively belongs to Kimolos.

Duration: 45 minutes

Pass By: Glaronisia, Greece

The island can be spotted across from Pachena Beach and is located in the north of Milos (the Greek name Glaronisia was given due to the seagulls that live there).
It is not a typical beach, but an unusual one with rock formations protruding above the water The morphology is the result of volcanic lava
Geological turbulence that took place 800 to 700 thousand years ago. This is truly Mother Nature at its best

Pass By: Klima, Klima, Milos, Cyclades, South Aegean

Traditional Greek village with a colorful landscape. Some people call it "The most colorful fishing village in Greece" due to the multi-colored traditional fishermen houses that are located on the shore of the village. Don't forget to take some amazing pictures while we are passing Klima village!
