In this location you will have the opportunity to take a short walk on the beach, next to the ancient road that was built in the 4th century AC. The port was of great commercial importance and today it is an attraction of unique natural beauty. If you wish, you can extend your route here, either for a seafood meal next to the sea, or for a short swim on the pristine beach. Excellent spot for photography.
You will walk along a part of the ancient carriage road, which once connected the Municipality of Aixonides Alon with the port of the coastal front. This discovery came to light during an excavation at Megalo Kavouri Vouliagmeni. From the coins and pottery found at the excavation site, it appears that the road remained in use throughout the 4th century AC.
