Together, we'll explore the Greek culture and traditions in the vibrant districts of Monastiraki and Psirri as we mingle with locals and check out where Athenians like to hang out.

We 'll visit the local food market, the most vibrant place in the city, a year-round food oasis. Here you will feel the real pulse of Athens, you will mingle with the locals while they do their daily shopping and get to know the best quality ingredients. This is a heaven for foodies and a market like no other!

Stop At: Monastiraki, Athens Greece

Discover one of the best-hidden tavernas of Athens, a real apocalypse even for locals. Gimme that old time nostalgia as you visit one of the most iconic places where you will enjoy typical Greek tapas (mezes) and drink wine. The menu is based on seasonal ingredients the owner buys every day from the main food market of the city, just a few meters away. The vegetables, meat, and fish taste best with it's in season and at its peak and the menu changes constantly in order to provide you the freshest ingredients. This legendary taverna will make you feel like an authentic Athenian.

Stroll around the Spice street where you will find the best herbs that are collected from all over the Greek peninsula.
