Day 1: Cusco to Santa Maria - Lodge
Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
This unforgettable four-day adventure trip to Macchu Picchu begins with pick up from your Hotel at 5:00 am. From there, we head towards the sacred valley of the Incas, along the way enjoying spectacular scenery and picturesque villages. After a short break in Ollantaytambo, we will continue driving for approximately 1 hour to Abra Malaga mountain, the starting point of the downhill biking. After safety tips by our tour guides, we will descend for 3 hrs passing through small villages, orchards, rivers, and streams, stopping briefly in the town Huamanmarca and continuing to Santa Maria, where we will have a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will take a short rest and then prepare for an exciting rafting excursion down the Vilcanota river. The rapid level varies depending on the time of year but never exceeds Level IV nor drops below Level II. After our return, We will have dinner and then be spending the night in lodge accommodations.

Day 2: Santa Maria to Santa Teresa
Stop At: Santa Teresa, Santa Teresa, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will begin early in the morning after a hearty breakfast, climbing up the jungle Mountains (Not high Altitude); this also will include a section of the authentic Inca trail. This climb provides beautiful landscapes, local culture, animals, coffee and coca plantations, various native fruits such as: bananas, avocados, pineapples & passion fruit. We will stop for lunch in the town of Quellomayo where we will also have time to relax in a lovely garden area with hammocks. We will continue on in our journey crossing the Urubamba river and winding our day down once we reach the town of Santa Teresa for some much needed rest and relaxation after our nearly 16 km day trek. Here you can take an optional trip to the hot springs (additional 5 soles). We will have dinner as a group and then retire to our hostel accommodations for the night.

Day 3: Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes
Stop At: Santa Teresa, Santa Teresa, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
After breakfast we will take a thrilling adventure flying through the air, 150 meters above the ground. This adventure includes 5 zip-lines on some of the highest, fastest and safest zip lines out there! Adventurers are securely harnessed and attached by pulley to the double cable anchored in 2 different mountains and canyon. You will zip line from one mountain to the other fast enough to feel like you are flying. There are 2,500 meters of cable in five sections. The longest section is 600m long and the highest is 180m high. The maximum speed reachable is 70km/h. You can chose to fly them straight or show off the dare devil within by diving head first or upside down…be creative! After our thrilling morning, we will drive to Hydroelectric, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will continue our journey, walking near the train rail to get to Machupiccu town (Aguas Calientes). We will have dinner and stay our last night in a hostel, at the foot of the great Machupicchu.

Day 4: Tour in Machu Picchu - Afternnon retrun to Cusco
Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
We will leave at 4:30 am to hike to Machu Picchu (one and a half hours) in order to arrive in time to appreciate the magnificent city as the sun is rising. Your guide will provide a two and a half hour walking tour of this lost city; shedding light issues pertaining to the design of their housing and family living situations. After your guided walking tour you have the choice to continue exploring, or chose to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (additional $10 USD) to gain an even better panoramic view of the entire area (this is an extra 45 minute walk and with limited availability, please arrange this when you book the tour with the office). We will return back by foot to Aguas Calientes, where you will take the train to Ollantaytambo and then be picked up and bussed back to Cusco.
