Also, visit the natural classroom Yehliu Geopark, which shows bizarre terrain formed by thousands of years of geological movement that force the mountain jutting out of the ocean.

Description
Visit: Shifen Waterfall, No.10 Gankeng Road, Nanshan Village, Pingxi, New Taipei 226 Taiwan
Walk for an hour to discover the broadest waterfall in Taiwan, recessed within a beautiful forested mountainside setting, 20 metres (66 ft) in height and 40 metres (130 ft) in width. On a sunny day, there is a possibility of catching the view of a rainbow by the waterfall.

Shifen, get ready for the Sky Lantern Festival that is annually held here, and is increasingly getting recognized globally as a key international folklore event.
