Completed during 1857, the lighthouse (decommissioned) was the tallest structure during its time. The clock mechanism was constructed by the Dent, who would later construct the mechanism for the famous Big Ben.

A Historical Church that has roots dating back to the early 19th Century during the Dutch Colonial Period.

Stop At: Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple, 61 Sri Jinaratana Road, Colombo Sri Lanka

An old Buddhist Temple in the heart of Colombo with a mix of Sri Lankan, Indian, Thai and Chinese architecture. The temple has a library and a small museum with various ornaments.

The National Museum of Colombo is the largest museum in the Island. The museum holds collections of importance such as the regalia of the country, ancient artifacts and fossils.

Built for the commemoration of the independence of Sri Lanka from British rule.

The building housed the island's legislature for 53 years until the new parliamentary complex was opened.
