4 Days Safari Lake Nakuru NP Naivasha and Masai Mara
Lake Nakuru National Park and exciting Masai Mara Game Reserve on a 4 day Kenya safari tour.
This Safari tour includes stops to view the great rift valley escarpment, an exciting boat ride at Lake Naivasha, a guided walking safari at Crescent Island and views of lake Elementaita. Safari spends 4 days stopping at the Lake Nakuru in the Rift valley where you may view both black / white rhino species and the Lions.
Currently-the flamingo population is low at the Lake Nakuru-other resident bird species can be seen.
Other animals that you may see include Lion, warthog, Giraffe, Zebra and other plains game.
Tour proceeds to the Masai Mara where we shall be in search of the Big 5 as we traverse the famous wildlife haven.
Safari accommodation is provided in economy, standard or luxury lodge or tented camps depending on your budget / style.
This is a driving safari with transport in a pop up top.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park: 160 km: Approx. 3hrs
Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
07:00hrs: Pick up from Nairobi hotel / Nairobi Airport
Depart for the lake Nakuru National Park.
An easy scenic sightseeing drive via the great rift valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery.
There shall be stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the great rift valley escarpment.
We shall stop at the Freshwater Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat ride to view hippos, exotic birds and small game.
This shall be followed by guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
Later proceed to the Lake Nakuru arriving during the late morning.
The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, giraffes, zebra and other small game. It also hosts large number of bird species including Pelicans and sometimes a sizable Flamingo population.
Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake.
Overnight at your lake Nakuru National Park safari lodge/ tented camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve: 300 km: Approx. 6 hrs
A Short game and bird watching drive at the lake Nakuru National Park.
Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve.
There shall be stops at scenic places along the Nakuru – Masai Mara route.
Afternoon game viewing drives at the Masai Mara game reserve.
Duration: 6 hours

Accommodation included: Accommodation at either Mara Simba Lodge or Talek Bush Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara Full day
Stop At: Masai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani, Narok 20500 Kenya
Full Day – Masai Mara
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the savannah.
It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos and crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).
Duration: 10 hours

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve- Nairobi – 265Km – Approx: 5 hrs
Stop At: Nairobi, Kenya
Masai Mara Game Reserve- Nairobi – 265Km – Approx: 6 hrs
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
Early morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara game reserve.
Depart Masai Mara in the mid – morning and proceed to Nairobi.
There shall be a lunch stop along the way.
Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon, approximately 4:30 pm.
Duration: 6 hours
