This park is the faithful representation of the evergreen forest that stands out in southern Chile, which amazes us with its abundant vegetation and fauna that can be seen almost throughout the entire route. An excellent alternative to visit and start the Patagonia Parks Route.

Description

Itinerary

From your place of lodging we head towards Puerto Montt to take the route that follows the Carretera Austral. Upon reaching the park we will begin a tour of the enveloping Valdivian vegetation. We will visit the Salto del Río Chaica, we will see different
species of the native forest and the emblematic millennial larches of the park, as well as birds that will delight us with their song.
We will arrive at our first stop at Laguna Chaiquenes, we will rest for a few minutes to continue with our second part of the tour ending at our main destination, Laguna Triangulo. We will enjoy a delicious snack and recharge our batteries for our return. We will descend the same route to the starting point to begin our return to Puerto Varas.
