The Austro-Hungarian fortress of Gorazde is a historical monument. At the top of the fortress, we take a coffee break and enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Bay of Kotor.

Stop At: Fort Vrmac - Old Austro-Hungarian Fortress, 4km walk from Kotor, Kotor, Kotor Municipality Montenegro
The Austro-Hungarian fortress Vrmac is a historical monument located on the hill Vrmac, which is also a peninsula. That peninsula separates the two coastal cities of Kotor and Tivat.
Vrmac is an amazing nature park that will delight all people who visit it.

Vrmac is a continuation of the mountain Lovćen. The Vrmac peninsula is located between the Bay of Kotor and Tivat. To the west, Vrmac descends towards the Verige pass, about 300 m wide, which separates it from the Devesinje peninsula on the other side of the Bay of Kotor. The peninsula is made of flysch subject to erosion and which is a contrast to the nearby karst terrain. Steep slopes hinder the growth of settlements.
Upon arrival at the very top of the mountain, Vrmac organizes the installation of camping equipment and makes a slightly longer break for a snack and to enjoy nature.
