Join me on this fun and informative walking tour of my Kilkenny city. The two-hour tour is the best way to see the main sights, along with some interesting ones that are not in your guide book. You will also get to hear some entertaining stories about the characters that make Kilkenny such a fascinating city to visit. As the groups are small, you will have the opportunity to ask me questions, and allow me to share with you my deep knowledge of the city that I was born and raised in.
My name is John, I was born and raised in Kilkenny city. I give historical walking tours of my home city in English, French and German. I spend a lot of time researching the information for my tours, and I love sharing the years of knowledge that I have accrued, along with the odd story that I heard growing up.
I hold a qualification in National Tour Guiding, a BA (hons) in Language Studies, and I am a member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland.
