In the Plaza de los Coches we can find the famous Portal de los Dulces with a variety of candies. This portal has a spectacular view of the Clock Tower, and it was not always called like that, because in colonial times it was known as the Portal of the Judge, then when they decided to sell the black slaves it received the name of the Portal of the Slaves.

The Cathedral of Cartagena is a majestic place with an incomparable attractive beauty.
Its construction began in 1575, but in 1586, when only the tower remained to be built, the pirtata Francis Drake partially destroyed it. The resumption of construction took place between 1598 and 1612 with the additions of various things, such as the very high Florentine-style dome and the addition of marble on the main facade. You definitely want to have a photo taken in here.

Pass By: Casa del Marquez de Valdehoyos, Calle Factoria, Cartagena Colombia
Before reaching the Wall through Calle de la Factoria, you can see an excellent example of an aristocrat's house, the Casa del Marquez de Valdehoyos, which mentions the well-living of the previous colonial nobility with splendid rooms, patios and gardens.
This house was built during the 17th century by the Marquis of Valdehoyos who had the privilege of importing slaves and flour.

Located in the heart of the historic center of Cartagena, this park is adorned with majestic trees and surprisingly tall. Water fountains bring great freshness to urbanists and visitors to rely on containers made of sprouts.
In the midst of this vegetation is built the statue of the liberator Simon Bolivar, sitting on his horse, which was inaugurated on November 11, 1896. During the tour around the park, several interesting places are present to take great photographies.

The Jesuits created the construction of the monastery and church of San Pedro Claver in the 17th century, and it was originally called San Ignacio de Loyola. The facade of the church was made, like most of the buildings of the old city, in coral stones, which are famous in the region. If you visit Cartagena, you definitely have to have a photo taken in this place.

This is an strategical corner to have a great view of the city. Definitely a great place for an amazing shot.
The first wall built in this section was built on Jesuit land, the religious ended up drilling the wall and building their college and cloister on it, thus invalidating its defensive function. After a dispute that lasted thirty years, it was decided to move the wall to the outside by creating a street that would allow the walkway between the school and the future wall, with the Company in charge of paying the costs of the new construction.
