The city of Sidi Bou Said is located north of the Tunisian capital. The whole city is located on a steep cliff,
which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The view of Sidi Bou
Said is absolutely phenomenal, and will continue to amaze you
throughout your trip.
The entire city is simply beautiful, with flowers draped almost
every wall and door, and beautiful hanging hanging vines
throughout the area. Sidi Bou Said is so beautiful, in fact, that
many artists have made their home here. It is also said of the city
have inspired the famous artist Paul Klee and the famous writer André Gide

It is the richness of its history that gave this 12th century city its traditional character and
modern at a time. Originally, it was a small town built by the Berbers. Near the Gulf of
Tunis on the Mediterranean coast, it becomes a thriving market town from the thirteenth century.
