Itinerary

Day 1: Airport - Cairo

Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI) where you are met by our representative who will be holding a sign, and assists you through the formalities before passing through immigration. Transfer to your hotel to meet your guide for a briefing explaining the tour itinerary. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.

Note: We suggest booking a flight that departs at least one day before the experience begins. Airport pickup is available throughout this whole day. Check in is usually after 3 pm, please confirm.

The tour representative has to inform the local authorities of every stop along the way beforehand, so the restaurants visited cannot be changed. You will not be able to eat at another place on your own. It is up to you whether you buy something from a souvenir shop or not. Timings in the itinerary are approximate and may change in destination.

Day 2: Cairo- Sakkara

Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Cairo- Sakkara
After breakfast, start the day by visiting the inspiring Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx on the Giza plateau.

You have the opportunity to enter the main pyramid, Cheops, and discover its narrow interior in an unforgettable tour of approximately 20 minutes. (Entrance fee not included).

The pyramids of Mykerinos and Chephren can only be seen from the outside and together, with Cheops they form an iconic Egyptian landscape.

Continue to Sakkara and visit the Step Pyramid, the first pyramid to be completed in Egypt, as well as visit the ancient pharaonic tombs.

Note: Entrance to the pyramid is not recommended for claustrophobic people due to limited space.

Transfer to Aswan

You travel overnight on an A/C bus to Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan City

Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley

Aswan City

You arrive to Aswan and meet the tour representative who transfers you to your hotel. You start the day off with a tour of the romantic Philae Temple, perched atop a picturesque island, where its beautiful location is reached by small motor boats, making it a truly magnificent approach to the site.

Day 4: Nile River Felucca

Stop At: Nile River, Cairo 15662 Egypt
Nile River Felucca

After breakfast, at 12 pm approximately, you step aboard your Nile felucca.
You get lunch before starting to sail across the Nile and watching the world go by as you cruise down the river observing rural life on the shores and taking in the changing landscape of the mighty Nile River.
In the evening the felucca stops sailing, so you can get dinner and enjoy a good night's sleep aboard.

Day 5: Kom Ombo- Luxor

Stop At: Kom Ombo, Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Kom Ombo- Luxor

In the morning, you disembark the felucca and then travel on an A/C bus to the city of Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum and home to some of the greatest monuments that have survived from ancient Thebes.

On the way you visit the temple of Kom Ombo, its perfectly symmetrical twin entrances overlook the spectacular riverside. In the afternoon you go on a tour of the East Bank of the Nile, here you admire the immense Karnak Temple, considered by some as Egypt’s most important Pharonic site; as well as you visit the magnificent Luxor Temple where visitors are greeted by the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes.

Day 6: Luxor - Hurghada

Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
7:30 am - 9:00 pm
Luxor - Hurghada

After having breakfast, you explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting the tour with the world famous Valley of the Kings, the richest archaeological site on earth; then on to the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri), built for the only woman to reign over Egypt as pharaoh.

Next, you visit the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of Amenophis III’s temple.

Stop At: Hurghada, Hurghada, Red Sea and Sinai
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Transfer to Hurghada
Finally you take the A/C bus to Hurghada, Red Sea.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 7: Hurghada, Red Sea- Free day

Stop At: Red Sea and Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Hurghada, Red Sea- Free day

This day is free for you to enjoy or relax in the Red Sea, optionally you can do aquatic activities.

You have the option to buy an extra of snorkeling and diving, if you wish you can add one (1) of these activities to do this day. You must have experience at diving for doing this activity.

Day 8: Cairo City

Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
5:30 am - 7:00 pm
Cairo City

You arrive to Cairo where you are transfered to your hotel after the 5 hr. ride to get to the city. You rest for a while and at the agreed time you meet your guide to start the tour.

Visit the City of Cairo beginning with the Egyptian Museum where you see the treasures of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. From there you head to the Coptic area of old Cairo to visit the hanging church, so named as it is suspended above two Roman gate towers.

Continue on to the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, which sits majestically on the summit of the Citadel of Saladin. Afterwards you make your way to the old Cairo Bazaar: Khan El Khalili, with its maze of intriguing alleyways that are home to numerous souvenir stalls and coffee shops.

You return to the hotel to rest after this great day.

Day 9: Cairo- Airport

You enjoy the last buffet breakfast of this incredible experience, do the check out, and are later driven to the International Cairo Airport taking all the great memories of your adventures with you on your flight back home.
