Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Cusco

Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
A tour representative awaits for you to greet you upon your arrival to Cusco and take you to your hotel. This is a free day that helps you to get used to the alttitude of the city, we suggest arriving on an early flight.
Duration: 12 hours

Accommodation included: Hotel Tanadapata Boutique or Koyllur Inn in Cusco

Day 2: Cusco- Chinchero- Maras- Moray- Train to Aguas Calientes

Stop At: Chinchero, Chinchero, Cusco Region
This day you start off with a yummy breakfast and take the tour towards Chinchero, where you see Inca buildings and the small colonial church; you also participate in the elaboration of Andean textiles. Next, you visit the famous circular terraces of Moray. From here the tour goes on to the Saltmines of Maras, which has more than 3000 salt mines, this salt was used by the Incas for human consumption. Finally you head to Ollantaytambo to take the train (Expedition by Peru Rail or Voyager by Inca Rail) to Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes- Machu Picchu- Aguas Calientes- Train to Cusco

Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
You wake up very early, have breakfast, and take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. The tour guide gives you a detailed explanation on this historical sanctuary; when the tour is done you go back to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and later board the train to Ollantaytambo. From here you finally go back to your hotel in Cusco to rest.

Day 4: Cusco - Mollepata - Humantay Lagoon- Cusco

Stop At: Humantay Lake, Cusco 08002 Peru
You start this day going on the tour to Mollepata where you have breakfast. You continue to Soraypampa, where the trekking begins. On the way up you get to see the varied flora and fauna, as well as all the typical birds from the region, and the wonderful landscape. You keep walking until you get to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, where you enjoy some delicious snacks. Later you have lunch and go back to Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco- Colored mountain- Cusco

Stop At: Vinicunca, 08225, Peru
You leave the hotel very early to start the tour to the 7 colored mountain. On the way you observe the beautiful landscape, alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas. At the top of the mountain you have enough time to take pictures and enjoy this incredible place. Later you have lunch and return to Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco- Airport

Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
You spend this last day at your leisure and keep exploring the magical Cusco. Later, according to your flight schedule (we suggest to book a flight that departs after 2 pm), you are driven to the airport for your trip back home.
