Patan Durbar Square is positioned in the heart of Patan city. The Square and its atmosphere provides fine example of antique Newari architecture. The palace has three main courtyards the central and the oldest is Mul Chowk. To the west of the complex are a dozen gratis standing temples of different sizes and styles. Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Mandir, the Golden Temple of Hiranya Varna Mahavira and Sundari Chowk mark the architectural excellence of its era. The Sundari Chowk with the sunken Royal bath of Tusha Hiti, contains exquisite woodcarvings, stone, and metal sculpture. Patan Durbar Square is also known as of Taleju Bhawani.

Pashupatinath, is a Hindu temple which is set on the banks of the Bagmati River in Deopatan, a village 3 km northwest of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is devoted to a demonstration of Shiva called Pashupati (Lord of Animals). This holy place be a magnet for thousands of pilgrims every year and has turn out to be well known far beyond the Kathmandu Valley. The temple is banned to non-Hindus, but they can have excellent outlook of the temple from the opposite bank of the river.

Bouddhanath is the center for Tibetan culture in Nepal. The 36-meter-high stupa of Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Bouddhanath Stupa was renovated by Lichhavi rulers in the 18th century. The mandala design in Bouddhanath is a carbon copy of the Gyangtse in Tibet. The stupa is situated in the area of ancient trade route to Tibet where Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers for many centuries. When refugees entered into Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, they decided to live around Bouddhanath. Hence, the whole township has developed around Bouddhanath. The stupa is said to entomb the leftovers of a Kasyap sage honored both to Buddhists and Hindus. Smaller stupas are situated at the base. Gompa monasteries, curio shops, and restaurants are helping Bouddhanath as a happening site.

Stop At: Swayambhunath Temple, Swayamhu Circle Road, Kathmandu 44620 Nepal
Swyambhuna Stupa is one of the world mainly magnificent Buddhist Stupa, which is 2000 years old. Tourist often describes it as a monkey Temple. Swyambhunath is listed in world heritage site by UNESCO.The chief component for constructing Stupa is brick and mud which supports a lofty pointed rendezvous capped by a peak of copper gilt. There you can see eyes of Lord Buddha on the four side of spire. Being positioned 177m above the level of valley the hill of “shyambhu nath” is a mixture of small stupas and pagoda Temples. The goddess is believed to be well-known for tantric. Other Temples along with the Tibetan monasteries encircle the core stupa of Lord Buddha and goddess. From here, one can outlook complete valley of Kathmandu.
