Stop At: Volubilis, Morocco

Our Day Trip to Meknes Volubilis starts by picking you up from your Hotel in Fes, and then drive you through the captivating natural landscapes. We will pass by the magnificent views of the Rif Mountains and the spectacular Dam Chahed.
Next, we will stop in Volubilis, the ancient Roman Ruins, to learn more about the Roman history, the ancient culture, and majestic architecture; as you discover the magnificent ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple. You will have some free time to explore the surviving buildings, to feel the Royal Roman vibes and take some memorable picture.

Stop At: La Grande Terrasse, Meknes Morocco

We will continue our Volubilis Day Trip to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a small town with a huge value in every Moroccan’s heart. The little village was built by Idriss I, the first to bring Islam to Morocco. Moulay Idriss Zerhoun village offers some spectacular panoramic views and ancient Islamic Monuments.

Our following stop would be Meknes, the old Ismailia Capital, another walled city, with a huge history to be discovered inside of the city walls. You will be guided through the most impressive 17t century Gates, as Bab Berdaïne, Bab Khemis, Bab Mansour and El Heri es-Souani, the remarkable granaries and stables, and also the underground channels bringing fresh water from Middle Atlas Mountains to Royal Stables.

Stop At: Mausoleum of Mouley Ismail, Rue Palais, Meknes Morocco

Then, we will visit the Moulay Ismail mausoleum and Place-El-Hedim square, where we can see all sorts of entertainment or enjoy a tempting local meal.

At the end of our Day Trip from Fes to Volubilis, your personal driver will take you back to Fes, and finally drop you off at your Hotel/Riad.
