Our local knight will meet you in the shadow of Kilkenny castle, where they will give a quick introduction and Health and safety talk before giving a unique perspective on the area and telling a bit of its history

Stop At: Tourist Information Office (Shee Alms House), Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny Ireland

We stop here at the back of the building to talk about its history.

Duration: 3 minutes

Stop At: Medieval Mile Museum, 2 St Marys Lane, Kilkenny R95 ANW5 Ireland

We stop outside the museum to talk a bit about the history of the building and its role in Kilkennys political history.

Duration: 3 minutes

Stop At: High Street, High St, Gardens, Kilkenny, Ireland

We stop for a quick chat on the High street to talk about what it might have looked like in medieval times

Duration: 3 minutes

Pass By: Pennyfeather Lane, Pennyfeather Ln, Gardens, Kilkenny, Ireland

As we walk along the lane we discuss what life would have been like and the living conditions of medieval times.

Stop At: Saint Francis' Capuchin Friary Friary Street, Kilkenny Ireland

A quick stop to discuss the city's medieval wall's and their role.

Duration: 3 minutes

Stop At: Talbot Tower, Lower New Street, Kilkenny Ireland

The highlight of the tour, enjoy the beauty and history of the small park surrounding the tower, while learning about the armour and weapons used by medieval knights.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Kilkenny Castle, The Parade, Kilkenny R95 YRK1 Ireland

Arriving at the gates of the castle we end the tour with a bit of history of the castle and its role in Kilkenny.
