The Bazaar of Khan el Khalili is a 1.000 year old market, where you can shop among the many ancient buildings and mosques. This place would be unbeatable with its shops that date back centuries ago

Day 2: Safari trip to Faiyum
Stop At: Qarun Lake, Faiyum Governorate 2814001, Egypt
Have you ever heard of the Egyptian god, Sobek? Well now is your chance to learn more. A tour guide will pick up from your hotel in Cairo by an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle and take us on a journey through history as we make our way into Fayoum - where it was revered that The Crocodile God's cult center existed during ancient times!
This 95 km drive might be long but don't worry about getting tired; there are breaks for tea time (or coffee), snacks etc., so bring something good enough to break the boredom :)

Then, it's time to explore the Valley of Whales' "Wadi Hitan." Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2005 for its hundreds and thousands from some ancient whale species. See fossilized bones that date back 200 million years ago when this desert was covered by water! The most visible relics are those belonging either mammoths or giant sea cows- two other creatures who lived alongside these

Foreigners are familiar with Tunis Village, where the people are more than welcoming and generous, with many expatriates buying properties. It's an excellent opportunity to watch the young artisans at work and purchase examples of their work, tour the hamlet, and try your hand at pottery!
There are several Pottery Shops, and they point out some of the magnificent and uncommon plants, as well as a plethora of trees and shrubs, including the Bottle Brush Tree (which has drooping branches), Spikey Silk Cotton Tree, rose bushes, pomegranate bushes, Olive, Orange, and Lemon trees.
