The park highlights the two most active volcanoes in the world, Mauna Loa and Kilauea. At the Park you will stop at the Visitor Center, and steam vents Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a must-see in Hawaii! Have lunch or coffee while looking at the famous Halemaumau crater!
The last stop is a black sand beach where turtles often like to nap!

Get the most out of your visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a World UNESCO Heritage Site. To see most of the major sites in HVNP takes 3-4 hours not counting a stop for lunch. You will see: calderas, pit craters, lava trees, lava river, fissures, splatter ramparts, steam vents, lava tube and more. If you would prefer to see less of the Park and visit other stops along the way to the Park you are welcome to do so.
