Day 1: BUCHAREST – BRAN - BRASOV
Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
In the morning meet with our guide at your hotel in Bucharest or at the airport (for flights arriving up to 11.00). Note: on request we can include extra nights and travel services in Bucharest.
Continue your Transylvania tour with the visit at the famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, the castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377.
After the Bran Castle visit you can spend some time for souvenires shopping and then leave

End the day in Brasov with a visit of the medieval center of Brasov, The main sites are: Council Square, Black Chuch, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate, St Nicholas Church, The Rope’s street, etc. The city of Brasov has its origins back to 13th century and it was one of the most important trade centres and one of the most fortified towns. Part of the medieval buildings can be still seen in our tour.

Black church is the biggest gothic cathedral from Romania. It was built in 14th-15th century and it is the landmark of Brasov.

Part of the impressive defensive system of Brasov, built in the medieval town.

The museum of the first Romanian school present a huge collection of old books and documents and the first printshop used in 16th century.

Day 2: BRASOV - PREJMER – VISCRI - RUPEA - SIGHISOARA - BRASOV
Stop At: Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer, East side of the Brasov Depression, Prejmer 507165 Romania
Depart from Brasov to explore the Saxon heritages from the area. First stop at Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO), one of the best preserved of its kind in Eastern Europe. Dating since 13th century, it is a great sample of a mix between the religious and defensive structures. Built the be a shelter for the local communities the fortified churches are characteristic for southern Transylvania and was part of the regional defensive system. Almost every village in the area had a type of fortification. The most important ones are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

We’ll continue to Rupea fortress, an impressive citadel with three concentric fortified walls and 3 interior precincts.

Next we’ll drive to one of the most charming Transylvanian villages – Viscri. The village preserve the authentic architecture of the houses, old way of life, traditions and crafts. It is considered a great sample of the Saxon / German Heritage of Transylvania. Enjoy a walk through the village

One of the oldest sights from Transylvania, the church from Viscri is dating since 12th century. Later was added the inner wall, towers and other parts of the fortifications. It is an UNESCO monument.

Stop At: Centrul Istoric Sighisoara, Piata Cetatii Nr.1 Center of Sighisoara, Sighisoara 545400 Romania
In the afternoon we’ll arrive at Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval town of Transylvania. The main sights: Clock Tower and History Museum, Birth place of Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), Covered stairs, Church on the Hill, towers and fortifications. Enjoy a walk on the narrow streets paved with river stones.
Sighisoara is a must to see place for any traveler having a tour in Romania.

Day 3: BRASOV - SIBIU – SIBIEL – FELDIOARA - BRASOV
Stop At: Big Square (Piata Mare), Piata Mare 1, Sibiu 550163 Romania
We’ll drive the morning to Sibiu. The city of Sibiu it was the biggest medieval town of Transylvania and today is one of the most popular tourist sights. Highlights: Big Square, Little Square, Orthodox and Lutheran-Evangelic Cathedrals, Liars bridge, medieval wall, etc. Sibiu is a vibrant city with a charming old town and a walk will reveal parts of the local history and culture. It is considered one of the European most romantic places to live and visit.

In lunch time we’ll drive you in the villages from Sibiu surroundings, places with a long history and tradition. The best way to discover the village life is to go a trip by horse driven wagon. Enjoy the sightseeing and village. Then we’ll serve a home-made traditional lunch in a local family guesthouse. It is also the chance to see a typical Transylvanian household and to see how a peasant family lives.

Stop At: Feldioara Fortress, Dn 13 Feldioara, Brasov Romania
In the afternoon we’ll return to Brasov. On the route stop to visit the Feldioara Fortress. Dating since the early 13th century, it was the headquarter of the Teutonic Knghts, under the name of Marienburg. Feldioara Fortress is considered the oldest fortification in medieval Transylvania.

Day 4: BRASOV – SINAIA - BUCHAREST
Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Leave Brasov on the way to Bucharest. Stop on the route to Sinaia. Visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian kings. Peles castle is considered one of the best castles in Europe and one of the most modern buildings of its time.
Drop off at the airport or at a hotel in Bucharest – Approx 2.00 PM.
