Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Located in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas in the Province of Ouarzazate, the site of Ait-Ben-Haddou is the most famous ksar in the Ounila Valley. It is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. It is the most famous ksar in the area – and possibly in all of Morocco – thanks to its appearance in several film productions.

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
Ouarzazate is a city south of Morocco's High Atlas mountains, known as a gateway to the Sahara Desert. Its huge Taourirt Kasbah, home to a 19th-century palace, has views over the rugged local landscape, which features in several movies.

Stop At: Vallee Des Roses, El Kelaa M'gouna 45800 Morocco
The Valley of the Roses is located in the South-East of Morocco at the foot of the High Atlas between El Kelaa des M'Gouna and Boulmane du Dades. This famous Valley owes its name to the hedges of roses used to protect cultivated fields (cereals, barley, corn, potatoes).
The roses, whose scent invades the Valley everywhere in May a few days before they are picked, produce flowers that are harvested in the atmosphere of an annual tourist moussem.
Extraction of the essence of the rose is done for major perfume companies and rose water is supposedly a miracle remedy for allergies of the eyes.

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
Sitting against the Central Atlas, the Dadès Gorge is a dramatic landscape: ancient rust-red and mauve mountains stripped back to zigzagging layers of strata and knobbly rock formations. A rush of springtime water puddles in the valley where irrigation channels siphon it off to fields of wheat and orchards of fig, almond and olive trees. Travelers will spend overnight here
