Bronze Pinecone Statue:

Once you’ve scanned your ticket and passed the turnstiles, you will walk up the stairs to enjoy the view and head left after the stairs to enter the pinecone courtyard. There, you will enjoy a welcoming breath of fresh air as you admire the famed Pigna, the ancient bronze sculpture that stands imposingly in the Cortile della Pigna!

Gallery of Maps:

Holding your breath in awe, you’ll explore at your own pace the stunning Gallery of Maps as you listen to exciting stories about the world’s most precious collection of gigantic, geographical drawings.

Raphael’s Rooms:

Raphael’s rooms are, naturally, among the highlights of the Vatican. As you admire the intricately detailed frescos of the Umbrian master, you’ll see major moments of religious history coming alive.

Sistine Chapel:

• Vatican Museums opening hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 to 6:00pm. Last entrance time, 4:00pm. Last Entrance into the Sistine Chapel 5:30pm. From April to October, the it is also open in the evenings from 7-11pm. Some sections, however, such as the Pinacoteca, are closed. Vatican is closed on Sundays and religious holidays
