You will arrive at the lake early morning as this is the best time of the day to see this lake when the water is calm! The reflection of Crowfoot Mountain is amazing.

Stop At: Peyto Lake Trail, Parking lot near west Icefields Parkway, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Peyto Lake should be top of the list of places you have to visit in the Rockies. The dazzling glacial blue water shimmers in the daytime and is surrounded by huge alpine mountains. Peyto Lake's first viewpoint is lovely and it tends to get extremely crowded so we will hik a bit further to Peyto Lake Overlook .

Abraham Lake’s main attraction comes during the winter months, when methane bubbles become trapped below the surface of the lake and freeze, creating crystal-like formations under the surface.
