Witness to the medieval past of Estepona, it was built by order of the Catholic Monarchs in the 16th century for the defense and security of its inhabitants.

Cheerful and cozy square where you can enjoy a typical tapa surrounded by a flower garden.
In the square is the Casa de las Tejerinas, built in the 18th century and which currently houses the Tourist Office and houses various exhibitions.

The museum is located in a building built in the 19th century on a cistern belonging to a Muslim tower.
Its heritage comes from private collections and archaeological interventions from the last decades.
