Aperitif on the boat in front of Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. You will be able to take numerous photos of the picturesque houses of Portovenere, admire the majestic church of San Pietro and see the sun setting behind it
Pass By: Isola Palmaria, Porto Venere Italy
Tour of the Palmaria island. We will pass by the marble quarry, at the end. We will approach the Blue Grotto, famous for its crystal clear water and for the rocks which, when hit by the sun, seem to be coated in gold.
Pass By: Isola del Tino, Porto Venere Italy
The island of Tino is a small, uninhabited island on which there is one of the oldest lighthouses still in operation. On the north side of the island we will see the remains of a Benedictine monastery and a WWII bunker.
Going around the island of Tino, we will discover another small island, called Tinetto, partly submerged, in front of which stands, in the middle of the sea, the statue of the Madonna Stella Maris, protector of sailors and the inhabitants of the Gulf of Spice
Pass By: Grotta di Byron, 19025, Porto Venere Italy
We will approach the Byron Cave by boat, in the bay behind Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. This cave takes its name from the English poet Lord Byron, who used to swim there to meditate and seek inspiration to write his works
Pass By: Torre Scola, Porto Venere Italy
We will pass near Torre Scola, an ancient military fortress built in the middle of the sea on a submerged rock. Torre Scola was built in 1600 and was partly destroyed during the first Napoleonic war.
