Pass By: Ourika Valley, Ourika Morocco

Departure in the morning from Marrakech on a private day trip to the Ourika Valley, which is located in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco. It is located about sixty kilometers from Marrakech in the foothills of the high Atlas mountains. Ourika Valley is one of the best and most tourist destinations for Moroccan families, couples and tourists. Although it is close to the population of Marrakech, it is also one of the most virgin valleys in Morocco.

The valley is a labyrinth of lush greens inside the salt mine, one of the most beautiful and best preserved valleys in Morocco. The region is undoubtedly the perfect destination for people looking for Moroccan adventure, discovery, relaxation and meditation. Through its river, which starts from the High Atlas mountains and descends towards Marrakech, it is also where you will visit the Berber women who extract argan oil (the unique Moroccan oil).

Ourika Valley is much more than a tourist place, as it houses a number of plant species and the rare barbary macaques. This day trip is ideal for those who wish to see the beautiful splendor with the trekking to the summit. The walk starts from a Berber village called "Setti fadma", where you will start walking with a professional local guide for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to go and return from the waterfall area. At this crossing there are 7 waterfalls, which provide a bright place to take photos. After returning, you could have a drink by the river and then enjoy a typical lunch at a local Berber family home, the atmosphere of Ourika and its incredible unique decoration will impress you, then returning to Marrakech at approximately 5pm.
