4 Day Hand made pottery experience near Fes
Experience the Rif pottery on a 4 days Rif mountain tour from Fes to Rif mountains with a local experienced woman artisan. On this guided tour through Rif region, discover one the most authentic hand built pottery methods that dates back to the pre Islamic era notably to cartagians and phonecians and keeps preserved from one generation to another by practice.
Join us in our humble workshop and try this creative clay experience with your partners, friends and family for two hours of fun and apprenticeship. There will be a maximum of six participants to keep it personal .
We supply the clay and tools that you require on the pottery course and your passionate instructor will show step by step how to make your own pieces .

Itinerary
Experience the Rif pottery during a 4 day mindful hand made pottery with a local potter to learn one of the most authentic hand making pottery style in the pre rif Mountains in Selas tribe . During these 4 day , you will be taken for a thrilling back time journey to discover one of the oldest pottery making methods that goes back to pre Islamic era notably to the existence of Romans in the north of Morocco through learning all the steps of making pottery: Collecting clay, Preparing clay . Building pottery, Polishing pottery, Dying pottery, Painting pottery then Firing .
Day 1 :
✓Meeting a local Potter at her home , then get a donkey pack to collect the clay and other rawl materials involved in making pottery from the mountain near to the village
✓Preparing the clay dough in order to building your pieces by using simple tools
polishing the pieces by using a pebble, adelak, or any other hard and smooth object
Day 3:
Laying the pieces in a circle way oven to let them bake all the night .
Day 4:
Removing the pieces from the fire and cool them down before you carry them with you as one of the best memorable pottery souvenir and experience you ever have had with us
