The tour starts every day at 10.30 from The Comerço Square. We will embark to arrive at Belém just like the conquerors did, by boat. The boat takes us on a ride on the Tagus river, where we will enjoy an incredible view of the 25th of April bridge, and also, on the opposite side of the river, the famous statue Cristo Rey.
We disembark next to the tower of Belém,a world Heritage site, to get into the clothes of of the sailors that were willing to launch themselves into the unknown dark sea to discover and open new commercial sea routes. We will dig deeper into the history of the Age of Discoveries, and with the help of “Rosa de los Vientos”, the Rose of the winds we will get to know the power that the once largest empire on the planet had. And of course we will stop by the Jeronimos monastery, so you can be fascinated by it’s, elegance and majesty.
Legends, betrayals, conquests and history awaits! A tour with a sweet touch, where the custard tarts of Belém are also protagonists. Would you like to join??
