Stop At: DMZ, Munsan-eup, Majeong-ri Imjingak Tourist information center, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through 3 stops - Brdige of freedom, Mangbaedan Altar, Steam locomotive destroyed during Korean war in Imjingak Park. Imjingak was built in 1972 for the benefit of displaced North Koreans. It is at the end of National Road No. 1, which civilians can access.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Mangbaedan, South Korea, Gyeonggi-do, Paju-si, Munsan-eup, Imjingak-ro, 177 깅기도 파주시

Mangbaedan is an altar where North Korean refugees in the South hold ancestral rites on the two biggest national holidays to their parents and grandparents left behind in the North.

Stop At: The Third Tunnel, Nosang-ri, Jangdan-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 10800 South Korea

The third tunnel refers to one of the tunnels dug by North Korea southward under the DMZ. It is located 12km from Munsan and 52km from Seoul and was discovered on October 17, 1978. The tunnel measures 2m wide, 2m high, and over 1,635m long—large enough to accommodate some 30,000 soldiers per hour. It was discovered at a site four kilometers south of Panmunjom in 1978.

Will go down and look around on foot. Also, after you come out of tunnel, will go watch short video clip at The DMZ theater demonstrate the history of Korean division and the natural ecosystem around the DMZ.

Stop At: Dora Observatory, Jeomwon-ri, Gunnae-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 413-920 South Korea

Dora Observatory, the northernmost observatory on the west side of the Republic of Korea, opened in January 1987 atop Mt. Dora. On clear days, the Gaeseong Industrial Complex, Mt. Songak in Gaeseong, statues of Kim Il Sung, Kijeong-dong in the North, the outskirts of Gaeseong, and Geummamgol (cooperative farm) can all be viewed through the numerous telescopes installed on the rooftop.

Pass By: Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park, 481-1 Samok-ri, Munsan-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

This is constructed for wishing reunification and peace in Korea peninsula. It's constructed to transform Imjingak, a symbol of division and tension, into a symbol of reconciliation, co-prosperity, peace and unification. Various performances, exhibitions, film screenings and festivals are held here throughout the year.

Stop At: Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, 48-6, Seolma-ri, Jeokseong-myeon Gamaksan Mountain, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

[Option 1]
This is first stop of your short hiking course need 15 min walking to the up. It is one of longest suspension bridge of Korea with 150 meter length and used to be fierce battle field during Korean War. After short hiking to the top, you will reach to the great view point at the mountain Gamaksan.

Stop At: Majang Lake, 479-3 Gisan-ri, Gwangtan-myeon Majang Reservoir, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea

This is where the Allied Forces fought a fierce battle in the Korean War.Many Allied soldiers lost and sacrificed their valuable lives here during the Korean War. In April 1951, there was a fierce battle to build a defense line (delta defense line) to protect Seoul against Communism Army
May 1951, where there was a battle to advance the Kansas Line.
