Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Tianjin Cruise Port, Transfer to Beijing, Visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu.
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is about 3.5 hours' drive from Tianjin Cruise Terminal. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watchtowers, and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains.
You can return by cable car or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.

Day 2: Visit Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City, Back to Tianjin Cruise Port.

Tian'anmen Square is the largest city square in the center of Beijing, named after the Tian’anmen (literally meaning the “Gate of Heavenly Peace”), which sits to the north of it, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several key events in Chinese history.
As the world's largest city square and an enduring symbol of China's national pride, it is surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate (entrance to the Forbidden City), museums, government buildings, and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.

Be amazed at Beijing's spectacular former imperial palace. The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1420–1912). This "city within a city" is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the largest and best preserved ancient imperial architectural complex in the world.
You don't need to wait in a line for the tickets at the entrance, as we will book them in advance to save your time.
You will tour the palace for about 2 hours on a 2-kilometer walk that is graded as being easy. Your guide will accompany you to give a background introduction to the architecture, history, and art of the city.
