Stop At: Centro Storico di Rieti, Rieti Italy

Morning Time - You will be greeted by your Professional English Speaking Driver who will pick you up from your local Roman accommodation in a luxury Mercedes Benz Vehicle and chauffeur you to Rieti! During the drive to Florence your Private Knowledgeable English Speaking Driver will be able to answer any questions you may have as you are relaxed and comfortable in your luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle.

Your journey will begin with a visit of Rieti an ancient city even older than Rome itself, is rich in rivers and lakes, and the views here are full of vegetation and beautiful towns that will leave you speechless. The downtown rests on a small hill that overlooks beautiful valleys surrounded by mountains all along!

In Rieti, we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria and its bell tower from 1.252. It might look quite simple from the outside, but inside is beautifully ornate with original frescos. It also has a crypt of the most antique part of the church.

Another gems Rieti has to offer us for admire them are the Church of San Francesco, in honor to Saint Francis of Assisi who has stayed many times in the city. The stunning Flavio Vespasiano theatre with its characteristic good acoustics; and the Church of San Rufo situated in a same name square, tradition says this is the exact geographical centre of Italy!

After visiting Rieti, head to Amatrice! After suffering a 6.2 magnitude earthquake, Amatrice was mostly destroyed, and hope for the future was hard to find, nevertheless, the city has found its redemption thanks to their food! Being the home of the treasured “Pasta all’amatriciana”, be ready to dine and get delighted with the original recipe right where it was born, while at the same time you are supporting those who decide to remain and rebuilt their beloved city.

Once you feel rested enough after lunch, get ready to continue your tour going to our last stops. Your driver will take you to Lago di Campotosto, an artificial lake located in Abruzzo at an elevation of 1.313 meters, pictures here will be astonishing!
