Description
Itinerary
The mountains of Colorado not only offer spectacular scenery, but they are full of unique wildlife. Enjoy a naturalist-guided hike and learn about the ecology and natural history of Rocky Mountain National Park. Look for mammals like mule deer, elk, moose, snowshoe hare, and red squirrel. Find birds like Steller's Jay, Canada Jay, Pygmy Nuthatch, and Mountain Chickadee. We'll look for mountain specialties like Clark's Nutcracker, American Three-toed Woodpecker, Pine Grosbeak, and Brown-capped Rosy Finch. Get out of town for a day, experience the majesty of the mountains, and unwind afterwards with a beer at a local brewery.
