This is a complete culinary experience or you can call it a two-in-one event. In which we combine a 'visit to the local food market' and a Hungarian cooking course. We start on the Central Market Hall, which is the largest and oldest indoor market in Budapest. During the tour we visit the building and you can learn about local ingredients, seasonal vegetables and fruits, typical Hungarian products, shopping habits and the history of the building. We buy some ingredients and you can taste these in our kitchen (please, arrive a little hungry!)
Of course, you can also buy a few packages red paprika powder as a souvenir - we help you in this.
After the market tour, we go to our kitchen studio by taxi.

Stop At: Flavors of Budapest, Kiraly Street 77. I/17, Budapest 1077 Hungary

This is a 100% hands-on cooking experience. From the beginning to the end – we make together a traditional 3-course Hungarian menu. At the end of the cooking we will eat together and enjoy the result of your efforts.

On this course we work together as a group and everybody make the same menu. If you register the first, you can choose the menu for this event.
You can choose a menu from the followings:
Menu A: Sour cherry soup, Chicken paprikas with homemade dumplings, Gundel pancake
Menu B: Fish soup, Beef stew with red wine and small dumplings, Sweet cottage cheese balls
Menu C: Goulash soup (beef), Savoury pancake Hortobagy style, Gerbeaud layered cake (walnut)
Menu D: Chicken ragout with tarragon soup,  Stuffed pepper with tomato sauce (pork), Apple Strudel by FILO dough
Menu E: Creamy potato soup with smoked sausage (pork), Stuffed cabbage (pork meat), Poppy-seed bread pudding with vanilla custard
