Day 1: Arrival in Lima - Transfer to the Hotel

Upon your arrival to Lima, our team will be waiting to take you to the hotel. After checking-in, you will have a detailed explanation of the day-to-day itinerary, according to your selected package, as well as receiving information of what to do nearby, restaurants, shops, and more.

Day 2: Modern and Colonial City Tour in Lima & Lima to Huaraz
Pass By: Plaza San Martin, Lima Peru
What better way to explore Lima’s Historic Center by taking a guided tour with a local expert. The Historic Center of Lima was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 since it comprehends over 600 historical monuments that were built during the Colonial era.
Right in the famous Nicolás de Piérola Avenue lies a public space considered as one of the most representative locations of the city of Lima. The San Martin Square was built in honor of General José de San Martín, the general who led the Peruvian independence movement.
Stop At: Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor), Jr. Junin and Jr. Carabaya, Lima Peru
Also known as Plaza de Armas, it is located in the heart of the Historic Center of Lima. Around the square lie the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, Archbishop’s Palace of Lima, and the Union Palace.

Stop At: Convento de Santo Domingo, Jirón Camaná 170, Jirón Conde de Superunda 262, Lima 15001, Peru
It is considered the perfect example of Colonial architecture within Lima’s old town. It was built in 1578, though it’s construction took over 50 years to complete. However, due to the many earthquakes that struck the city, some parts of its structure had to be rebuilt.
The Church and Convent of Santo Domingo house the remains of the most significant Peruvian saints: Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martin de Porres, the first black saint in South America.

It is one of the 54 “huacas” located within the city of Lima. According to historians, Huaca Pucllana was mainly a ceremony center with some administrative features. However, different civilizations occupied this location who later used it for different purposes.
Huaca Pucllana is located in the heart of the Miraflores district and dates back to the 200-700 A.D. The attraction also offers an exclusive dining experience in a renowned restaurant within the archeological site.

Located 20 minutes away from the Kennedy Park, Parque del Amor is the perfect place for a romantic walk, relax or admire the Pacific coast as this strategic place is also a viewpoint to much of the Costa Verde.
The Love Park is visually attractive due to its ceramic benches, its colorful flowers, and above all, the sculpture "El Beso" made by the artist Victor Delfin.

Stop At: Parque Kennedy - Parque Central de Miraflores, Lima Peru
Also known as Miraflores Central Park, it is located in the center of the Miraflores district and has an extension of 22,000 m2. This beautiful square is surrounded by the main restaurants, shopping centers, and top hotels in Lima.
The Kennedy Park is recognized for sheltering hundreds of stray cats which are taken care of by the Municipality of Miraflores and some non-profit foundations. Likewise, the famous Central Park offers recreational spaces for local artists, musicians, and many activities.
At night, we’ll pick you up to take you from the hotel to the bus terminal, where you’ll board a comfortable tourist bus bound to the city of Huaraz. This will be a first class bus ride with semi-bed seats.

Day 3: Huaraz | Laguna Paron Trek
Pass By: Huaraz, Huaraz, Ancash Region
Upon arrival in Huaraz, our team will take you to the hotel where you’ll try the famous Coca tea, known for helping with any altitude sickness symptoms. Afterwards, we’ll be departing at 08:30 a.m. towards the city of Caraz, the starting point of our adventure to Laguna Paron.
Stop At: Laguna Paron, Huascaran National Park Cordillera Blanca, Caraz Peru
Once we reach this famous lagoon, we’ll have some free time to take some pictures, walk and enjoy this natural wonder. Afterwards, we’ll head towards the city of Huaraz where we are going to spend the night.

Day 4: Lagoon 69 & Llanganuco Trek
Stop At: Lake 69, 02160, Peru
On this day, our departure will be as early as 05:00 a.m. heading north from Huaraz towards the Cebollapampa town, which will be our starting point for the Lagoon 69 trail. You’ll be captivated by the natural beauty of the region and once you get to the lagoon, you’ll see that all that hard work has been paid off.

Stop At: Lake Llanganuco, Huascaran National Park Peru
Later, we’ll continue to the Llanganuco Lakes, another turquoise water body also located within the Huascaran National Park. This natural scenery will leave you totally spellbound, here you’ll be able to see towering snow-capped mountains and a great variety of fauna.

Day 5: Nevado Pastoruri Tour | Huaraz to Lima
Stop At: Nevado Pastoruri, Huaraz Peru
We’ll start our next adventure in the Nevado Pastoruri just after breakfast. This incredible mountain has an altitude of 5,240 meters and it’s located within the Cordillera Blanca. After lunch, you’ll have some free time to enjoy the landscapes and walk around. Afterwards, we’ll return to Huaraz so you can rest or walk around before taking the bus to Lima. We’ll depart in the evening on a comfortable tourist bus with on-board service.

Day 6: Lima to Paracas | Paracas National Reserve Tour
Stop At: Paracas Nature Reserve, Paracas Peru
On this day, we’ll continue down the Pacific coast to get to our next destination, Paracas. After arriving at the hotel, we’ll continue on to our next adventure! The Paracas National Reserve awaits to be rediscovered, this spectacular location is home to over 400 species of flora and fauna. We’ll be privileged to have a guided tour through this remote location, where we are going to see the Humboldt penguins, sea lions, exotic birds such as the red footed guanay cormorants, and much more.

Day 7: Ballestas Islands Boat Tour | Huacachina and Nazca
Stop At: Ballestas Islands, Paracas National Reserve, Pisco Peru
On this occasion, we’ll be able to visit another of Peru’s natural wonders on a boat trip! The Ballestas Islands are a group of rock formations and islands located in the Paracas peninsula. They are home to Humboldt penguins, exotic birds, and hundreds of sea lions.

Stop At: Huacachina, Huacachina, Ica Region
Later, we’ll continue to Huacachina, the only natural oasis in South America. In this location, we’ll take a dune buggy ride that will take us through several dunes as if we were on a roller coaster to later slide through the dune on a sandboard! Finishing this exciting adventure, we’ll continue to the city of Nazca.

Day 8: Flight Over the Nazca Lines | Arequipa
Stop At: Nasca Lines, Nazca Peru
One of the world’s biggest mysteries awaits you! The Nazca Lines are one of the most in-demand attractions in Peru. They can only be fully appreciated by taking a flight, since most of them are hidden in plain sight. On this occasion, you’ll be able to observe the most well-preserved geoglyphs of this region: The Monkey, the Hummingbird, the Astronaut, the Spider, and more. Once the flight is over, we’ll continue on an overnight trip to Arequipa.

Day 9: Arrival in Arequipa | Afternoon City Tour
Stop At: Plaza de Armas, Arequipa Peru
After lunch, we’ll have our guided tour through Arequipa, known for being the second largest city of Peru and for having the most visually striking historic center. First we’ll visit the beautiful Plaza de Armas of Arequipa, characterized by the impressive colonial scenery that surrounds it.

This special spot comprises several arches built entirely of white ashlar and offers panoramic views of the city and three volcanoes that guard the city: Chachani, Misti, and Pichu Pichu.

There you’ll have sweeping views to Arequipa’s countryside, a special spot surrounded by flourishing nature and pre-Columbian agricultural terraces that remain in use until the current date.

This is one of the most popular parks in Arequipa! Here you can get a horseback ride, swim, among other activities. On this occasion, we’ll make a stop here so you can know the place and get some snacks.

Stop At: La Mansion del Fundador, Via Paisajista Huasacache - Jacobo Hunter, Arequipa 04011 Peru
This colonial mansion holds the legacy of Arequipa’s founder, Don Garcí Manuel de Carbajal. There you’ll appreciate the beauty of the colonial architecture, some of the rooms maintain the same furniture as they did nearly 500 years ago.

Stop At: Molino de Sabandia, Camino Al Molino S/N. Sabandia, Arequipa 04000 Peru
This windmill is entirely built with white ashlar and has been functioning since the XVII century. It is considered a monument of the rural-mestizo architecture of Arequipa and was declared a National Cultural Heritage.

Day 10: Arequipa to Puno

We’ll head to Arequipa’s bus terminal in the afternoon to board a comfortable tourist bus bound for the city of Puno. Upon arrival, our team will take you to the hotel where you’ll try the famous Coca tea, known for helping with any altitude sickness symptoms.

Day 11: Lake Titicaca | Uros Floating Islands and Taquile
Stop At: Uros Floating Islands, Lake Titicaca, Puno Peru
Our team will pick you up from your accommodation so we can start the adventure. It will take us about 30 minutes to get to the Uros Floating Islands. On the way, you’ll be able to glance at the beautiful scenery of the lake. Once we arrive, you’ll see a group of man made islands where the Uros people live. They will teach you about their customs, traditions, and how they manage to build these totora reed islands.

Finishing our visit, we’ll continue to Taquile Island! There you’ll learn about their culture and traditions; locals are skilled craftsmen, as they have kept their traditions alive through generations. After our great experience on the island and a well-deserved lunch, we’ll head back to Puno to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Day 12: Sun Route Puno - Cusco
Pass By: Puno, Puno, Puno Region
On this day, we’ll be heading to Cusco on a tourist bus. On the way, we’ll be able to make some stops to see and learn about the cultures that predated the Incas, as well as actual Inca and colonial structures that will surely make this trip more exciting.
Stop At: Pucara, Pucara, Puno Region
Following the itinerary, the so-called Kalisaya ruins await to be discovered! The complex was built by the ancient Pucara civilization, which preceded the Incas and still left a mark in the vast Peruvian highlands.

Stop At: La Raya Pass, Peru
Now it’s time to appreciate the exuberant nature of the region. La Raya is located at 4,335 m.a.s.l. and it offers an outstanding view of the valley and the Chimboya snow-capped mountain. Here you’ll also find an authentic artisan market with the best options for souvenirs!

After a morning full of history and adventure, you’d surely be hungry! Sicuani is a small town located on the way to Cusco, where you’ll have a buffet lunch and a well-deserved rest before heading out to our next stop.

Stop At: Parque Arqueologico De Raqchi, San Pedro Peru
Our next stop will be Raqchi, an important Inca settlement located a few hours away from Cusco. The so-called Temple of Wiracocha had an important meaning to the Inca people and occupied a large territory with walls that reached over 10 meters of height.

Later, we will visit the San Pedro Church, the main attraction in Andahuaylillas, a beautiful church structured with a unique baroque architecture and beautiful religious paintings and murals. Finally, we’ll be arriving in Cusco, located 3,400 meters above sea level.

Day 13: Archeological City Tour in Cusco

In the afternoon, we’ll start the Archaeological City Tour with a visit to the different attractions within the city and its surroundings.
Right at the heart of the historic center lies the so-called Temple of the Sun, the principal worship center of the Inca culture. Here, we’ll have some time to explore the site as well as the current catholic church built on top of its settlements.

The Cathedral of Cusco is the perfect example of colonial baroque architecture. As most of the Spanish buildings found in the city center, its foundations are the ancient structure of an important Inca palace.

Following the itinerary, the Sacsayhuaman fortress is our next stop. The impressive megalithic structure has withstood centuries of earthquakes and holds stones that can measure up to 5 meters and weigh over 120 tons.

A few meters away from Sacsayhuaman lies another important ceremonial center to the Incas. The Qenqo archeological site was a ritual-based location where, according to historians, rituals and sacrifices took place.

Going further up the mountains, we’ll find an archeological site with a fortress-like appearance. It is believed that Puca Pucara served as a military and administrative center.

Tambomachay is one of the perfect examples of Inca hydraulic engineering. It is composed of irrigation channels and three water fountains that continue to provide water until the current date.

Day 14: Sacred Valley of the Incas - Aguas Calientes.

After a whole morning full of history and adventure, now it’s time to take a break and enjoy the famous peruvian gastronomy in a buffet restaurant. At Tunupa Restaurant, you will be surrounded by the soothing sound of the Urubamba River.

The small town of Ollantaytambo is one of the perfect examples of Inca urbanism. Its cobbled streets will leave you breathless as well as the Inca open draining system. You will also visit the archeological site, recognized as the only place that defeated the Spanish army during colonization for almost 50 years.

Day 15: Machu Picchu Private Guided Tour - Cusco

Our team will pick you up from the hotel to board the bus up to Machu Picchu in the morning. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu’s main entrance. Our professional guide will provide details and information about this wonder of the world, including the mysteries and fascinating facts of the Inca culture. After our time in Machu Picchu, we’ll go back to Aguas Calientes to return to the city of Cusco.
