Our journey will begin with a breathtaking view of the old town and Diocletian's palace.
Then, we will walk to our first stop. A bite of Dalmatian delicates and I will share some local stories and tell you about the ways we prepare food.

Stop At: Diocletian's Palace, Dioklecijanova 1, 21000, Split, Croatia

Did you know Split was born within the walls of the Diocletian palace? We will walk around to see ancient houses blended with modern architectural solutions.
We will start our journey below the city and walk our way up to the narrow streets and modern city of Split.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Diocletian Palace Substructures, IZA Vestibula 3, Split 21000 Croatia

Hidden below the Palace the substructures are silent witnesses of the past times. They are so interesting GOT was filmed here.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Grgur Ninski Statue, Ulica Kralja Tomislava 12, Split 21000 Croatia

On our way to make a wish by rubbing a toe on the majestic Grgur Ninski statue, we will stop to taste the award-winning local chocolate.

Duration: 4 minutes

Stop At: Split, Split, Split-Dalmatia County, Dalmatia

We'll take a second break and sample some of the region's specialties.
This is a unique type of food that Balcan people enjoy eating.
It can be a cheese pie or a meat pie.

Duration: 24 minutes

Stop At: Varos, Varos, Split, Split-Dalmatia County, Dalmatia

We will leave the historic core and make our way leisurely to Varoš.
So, we will leave the town's historically urban area and go to the traditional peasant and fishing community.
Varoš is known for its old churches, narrow alleyways, and houses which are relatively close to one another.

Duration: 29 minutes

Stop At: Teraca Vidilica, Nazorov Prilaz 1, Split 21000 Croatia

We'll stop here to take in the view of the old town, islands, and mountains in the distance. This is where we'll have a coffee with a view. The location from which you can take some photographs.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Green Market, ul. Stari Pazar, Split 21000 Croatia

This is where we'll stop to talk to vendors, see what they've made, and taste it. Farmers' products tell the most compelling stories.

Duration: 30 minutes
