Are you short on time but still want to get a sense of what Amsterdam is all about? This is the private tour for you. In this intriguing walking tour we share our quirkiest stories, the interesting history of Amsterdam, and some of the city’s most iconic places. The cities most famous highlights and hidden gems.

Canal District, Dam Square, Jordaan and more

If possible we pick you up from your hotel to walk into the old city center. We will stroll through the quaint streets of the canal district. Visit the heart of the city at the famous Dam Square and got lost in the old working class are Jordaan. 

From there we make our way through the more quiet streets to the river Amstel. We continue to the Magere Brug (The Bridge of Love) with lovely views of the Amsterdam boat scene. At one of the more hidden squares in the canal district we sit down for a refreshing drink under the trees.

After a short break we will pass the Jewish Quarter and end in the oldest part of town nearby Nieuwmarkt and the famous Red Light district (up to 4 people).

The heart of Amsterdam where it all started over 700 years ago.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Red Light District (De Wallen), Red Light District (De Wallen), Amsterdam, North Holland Province

See the busy and famous red light district around the oldest church and canals of Amsterdam.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Canal Ring (Grachtengordel), Canal Ring (Grachtengordel), Amsterdam, North Holland Province

Walk over the famous Canals surrounding the old city center. See the beautiful canal houses next to the canals where the rich merchants lived.

Dive into the old working class area and see how the poor Amsterdammers lived.

The Famous Westerkerk. Not only the church for the rich merchants, but also the church Anne Frank could see from her hiding place.

When lucky we can make it to the top of the tower.

We will walk over the Prinsengracht and see the canal house where Anne Frank and her family were hiding during WW2.

Stop At: Centraal Station, Stationsplein 9, 1012 AB Amsterdam The Netherlands

The entrance into the city is via this 130 year old classical building by the famous architect Cuypers.

Stop At: Magere Brug, Kerkstraat Nieuwe Kerkstraat, Amsterdam The Netherlands

Go over the Amstel river via the Bridge of Love and learn how important the river is for Amsterdam.
