During this 8-day Sri Lanka tour we will be sightseeing areas in the following destinations: Sigiriya, Polonaruwa, Minneriya National Park, Kandy, Dambulla, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Tissamaharama, Mirissa, and Colombo.

The guests will be provided with air-conditioned, comfortable vehicles with a driver-guide and free wi-fi. All vehicles will have baby seats available, if needed.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Colombo - Habarana

Stop At: Habarana, Habarana, North Central Province
Sigiriya Upon landing at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be met by a tour representative and receive a garland of flowers. Then proceed to Habarana. Check in at the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. Overnight: hotel, sigriya

Day 2: Sigriya to polonaruwa and minneriya National Park

Stop At: Sigiriya, Sigiriya, Central Province
In and around Polonnaruwa 

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka After breakfast the next morning, you will visit the archaeological city of polonnaruwa, after this you can have a nice lunch and then drive to one of national park to see lot of wild elephants Afterward, you will return back to the hotel in Sigiriya to spend the night

Day 3: dambulla

Stop At: Dambulla, Dambulla, Central Province
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. On your request, we can arrange village tour. After drive to Kandy, on the way visit spice garden and Hindu temple. Arrived and check in to hotel in Kandy. Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress Sigiriya is a one of UNESCO listed World Heritage Site for its best preserved ancient urban planning. Duration: 3 hours Village Tour gives you a chance to experience traditional Sri Lanka with all its authenticity. Spend time with the villagers and understand village life. Engage in many village activities that form everyday life; such as an oxen cart ride, a catamaran ride and a walk through the fields. Learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food. Stop At: Hindu Temple Matale Sri Muthumariamman Temple. In the Spice Garden, you will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed and you will also be able to purchase spices. Spend Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4: Kandy

Stop At: Kandy, Kandy, Kandy District, Central Province
Kandy is a major city located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. You will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this golden roofed Temple houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. Visit Kandy View Point, walk around Kandy Lake and enjoy shopping excursion at Kandy City Center

Day 5: Kandy to Ella

Stop At: Nuwara Eliya, Nuwara Eliya, Central Province
The rail ride from Kandy to Ella is known as one of the most scenic train trips in the world. This memorable journey commences from Nanuoya; the last royal capital of the country to Ella a peaceful, scenic village in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Duration: 3 hours Ella, often described as ‘’lonely planet’’ and ‘’waterfall’’ is a congested town located in Sri Lanka. Ella is pure natural beauty, with its waterfalls, greenery, and hills it is just jaw-dropping. It has views that one hasn’t witnessed before, scenes one hasn’t seen before and nature one hasn’t felt before. Ella is the perfect place to go to if one wants to refresh the brain. It has many famous places and has been under the attention of tourist for a decent amount of time now. You will spend the night at a hotel in Ella.

Day 6: Ella to Yala

Stop At: Ella, Ella, Uva Province
After breakfast visit Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge. After we will depart to Thissamaharama. On the way, we will be visiting the Ravana waterfalls. You will check-in at the hotel in Tissamaharama and in the mid-afternoon, you will leave for a jeep safari in Yala National Park. You will spend the night at the hotel in Tissamaharama. Stop At: Ravana Ella Falls The Ravana Falls is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. Duration: 20 minutes Stop At: Yala National Park Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park.scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds. Duration: 5 hours

Day 7: Mirissa

Stop At: Mirissa, Mirissa, Southern Province
In and around Mirissa

Stop At: Galle Fort, Church Street, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka After breakfast, we will transfer to Mirissa. Once we reach Mirissa you will check-in to a hotel there and spend the night.

Day 8: Colombo

Stop At: Colombo, Colombo, Western Province
* Stop At: Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake 11450, Sri Lanka There is no itinerary planned for the day. After breakfast at the hotel, we will be departing for Bandaranaike International Airport in time to catch your flight (at least 2-3 hours before your flight), concluding the end of this tour.
